With a little over a week until Ridley Scott’s Prometheus premieres in theatres, a new featurette has been released, discussing the actual ship design choices that were made.  It’s pretty cool!  Check it out below!

A new Australian Spidey trailer was released yesterday online.  It has a some new cool footage in it and I can tell they are really trying to distinguish Tobey Maguire’s Spiderman from Andrew Garfield’s Spiderman as the new one is much more of a punk in my opinion. Check out the trailer below and the movie in theatres on July 4th.

Weeks ago, it was all but confirmed that Khan Noonien Singh, famous for being arguably the best villain of the original Star Trek movie series, was going to be the villain in the JJ Abrams’ upcoming Star Trek 2.  The casting of Benedict Cumberbatch (of BBC’s Sherlock) was even confirmed!  Well now, according to actor Simon Pegg who plays Scotty in the new film series, Kahn is NOT the villain after all!  He recently said,

“It’s not Khan. That’s a myth. Everyone’s saying it is, but it’s not. I think people just want to have a scoop. It annoys me – it’s beyond the point to just ferret around for spoilers all the time to try to be the first to break them.”

Wow!  Then who is the villain?  Will Khan be appearing and will Cumberbatch be playing him or someone else entirely?  Or maybe Pegg is lying and it is Khan?  We’ll have to wait and see but regardless of the villain I can’t wait to see it!

I found a cool image online today and I figured i would share it!  It shows what aliens living in other locations in space can now see if they are monitoring our TV broadcasts.  It includes shows like Babylon 5, Star Trek: The Original Series, Star Trek: The Next Generation and many others.  Enjoy!
